August 2024 Community Newsletter
Welcome
We are so glad you’ve chosen to live in Pinnacle. Our community is under development and each month we will send out a newsletter via email to update residents on what’s going on in the neighborhood, or remind you about rules, and share information. If you have not already done so, sign up with the Lifestyle Team, so you know about upcoming events and activities coming soon. Please reach out to Management hoa@brightoncorp.com should you have any questions. We are looking forward to working with you all in building this beautiful community.
Pool Closure
We’re nearing the end of the season for swimming. We always stay open until Labor Day, and then start watching the weather forecasts. We’ll stay open as long as we can in September while temperatures allow. We’ll send out an email update as soon as we set a closing date.
Parking
Please remember to use your garage for parking first before storage or anything else. If your garage is full of the number of automobiles for which it is designed, then you can use the driveway for parking. Street parking should be used last. Also, recreational items like boats, campers, ATV’s, and trailers may not be out for longer than 24 hours. They should be stored offsite and not in view.
Watering
The Pinnacle community receives irrigation water from Boise Project. Our community has its own pump station and system to pump the water we receive to each home. In order to make sure we all receive adequate water and pressure, even as we grow, we have a watering schedule:
- Even ending addresses water Monday, Wednesday, Friday
- Odd ending addresses water Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
- Sunday is a makeup day for the common areas.
This schedule should allow the system to distribute water evenly throughout the community, so pressure is maintained. If everyone waters at the same time/day, it creates too much demand on the system and simply drains the water available more rapidly than it can be replaced, causing the pumps to lose pressure and eventually shut down. Once pressure is lost, no one can water. Following a schedule also helps to keep homes from over watering. Everyone is on the honor system. We encourage good watering habits, and hope everyone will be mindful of what they are watering and when they are watering. We appreciate everyone being conscientious.
Example: 1804 Spire is an even ending address, and should water Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Advisory Committee
We’d like to start an Advisory Committee in Quartet. This is a volunteer committee made up of residents that want to represent the community, similar to a Board. The group will meet with Brighton to review finances, maintenance, and requests from the community, and give suggestions and feedback. We understand that each community is unique because of its residents and establishing a committee like this helps us to understand and make sure residents can be heard. If you are interested in volunteering, please email hoa@brightoncorp.com.
